What's better than having cheese AND potatoes at the same time?
Makes 6
Ingredients:
- 2 medium potatoes
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 4 oz cheese of choice
Directions:
1. Peel potatoes, briefly cut into thick slices and steam for 30 minutes
2. Mash potatoes with cornstarch, sugar, salt, and garlic powder
3. Let cool until it is not too hot to work with
4. Shape ~2 tbsp of mashed potato into a disc or bowl, fill with cheese and shape into a ball and then slightly flatten it
5. Cook lightly oiled pan until golden
