Korean Street Toast

This is our version of the "Korean Street Toast"



Ingredients:

  • thick toast slice, lightly toasted
  • one leaf of cabbage, shredded
  • one egg
  • one slice of cheese of choice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • sugar
  • ketchup
  • butter

Directions:

  1. Spread butter on a lightly toasted slice of bread and slice of cheese. Set aside. 
  2. In a bowl, scramble egg and add cabbage. Season to taste. Cook cabbage omelet. Place cabbage omelet over cheese toast. The heat will slightly melt the cheese.
  3. Sprinkle omelet lightly with granulated sugar.
  4. Add ketchup to taste. Enjoy warm! 

Notes/Tips:
- Make this more filling with two slices of bread or add ham
- we used American cheese here but any cheese of choice will work great
- if you like it extra sweet, mix your ketchup with a little bit of condensed milk
- to add a pop of color, add in some shredded carrots to the cabbage and egg omelet
