Coffee Brownies

When you have left-over brewed coffee and also have a sweet tooth, these brownies are a great idea!

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup brewed coffee
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup white chocolate chips, if desired
  • Additional white chocolate chips, if desired


Directions:

  1. Melt butter and semi-sweet chocolate in saucepan, over low-medium heat, stirring constantly
  2. Let melted chocolate cool completely
  3. Preheat oven to 350F
  4. Whisk sugar into cooled melted chocolate. Then, add in eggs 1 at a time, mixing well after each
  5. Mix in brewed coffee and vanilla extract
  6. Mix in flour, cocoa powder, and salt, until completely incorporated
  7. Stir in white chocolate chips, if desired
  8. Pour batter into lined 9 in. square pan
  9. Bake at 350F for 35 minutes, cake tester should come out clean
  10. Let brownies cool completely before cutting
