Quick and easy dinner for busy days.

- 1 ½ lb boneless chicken breast
- ¾ cup water
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- ½ medium onion
Directions:
1. Combine water, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and ginger. Separate into 2 equal portions
2. Marinate chicken in half of sauce for at least 2 hours
3. Mix cornstarch with remaining sauce and bring to a boil over medium-high heat, until thickened. Set aside
4. Drain chicken, reserve ¼ cup of marinade
5. In a skillet, heat vegetable oil, and cook onions until tender. Set aside
6. Cook chicken, pour half of reserved marinade on each side while cooking
7. To serve: cut chicken breast into strips, place over onion, and top with sauce.
