Yaki Udon


Makes 3 servings


Ingredients:
- ½ lb chicken; sliced
- Pinch of salt and black pepper
- 1 pack (16 oz) white udon
- ¼ onion; sliced
- ½ small carrot; shredded
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1½ tsp dashi powder
- 1½ tsp sugar
- Pinch of white pepper


Directions:

  1. Sprinkle pinch of salt and black pepper on meat, set aside
  2. Soak noodles in warm water until separated. Drain and set aside
  3. Heat ~1 tbsp vegetable oil over medium heat
  4. Add in onions and meat. Cook until meat is half cooked
  5. Add in carrots, cook until soft
  6.  Add in rest of ingredients. Stir fry until well combined
